The launch is an official club road trip. A number of members will be traveling to arrive on Wednesday June 30th at 1:00 PM to set up our club tent and reserve space for our members. The launch will be held July 1st through July 4th 2004. A complete list of costs, hotel recommendations and logistics can be found from a link on our club web site.

4.) Topic: Court Ruling on NAR/Tripoli Lawsuit against the BATF
Discussion: Les Kramer led a discussion on the recent court ruling regarding the lawsuit against the BATF. The following items were discussed;
· The judge ruled that the BATF can regulate AP
· The judge also ruled that fully assembled motors are still considered PAD’s under the BATF’s own rules and are exempt from regulation at this time.
· It seems that reload kits and motors above the 62.5 gram limit are able to be regulated.
· All flyers are encouraged to report any BATF activity that seems to be unnecessary to NAR Headquarters.
· You can visit the NAR web site to get the latest information.
· The next hearing has been scheduled for December 19th, 2004.
· It seems that the BATF will simply follow the proper rule making procedures to limit any motor above the 62.5 gram limit.
